Beautiful Springtime in Florida

In the Spring of 2006, we visited Florida.  We spent time in Orlando and Key West.  We did dolphin training for a day at Discovery Cove and saw shows at Seaworld too!

At Discovery Cove we were dolphin trainers for the day.  We got into wet suites and in the water, and learned to give dolphins commands, and swam with them.  We also hung out with stingrays and other marine life, and fed tropical birds.

We went to Seaworld show with orca killer whales.  We were also lucky that the band Foreigner was performing, so we saw their concert.

We then drove the Overseas Highway to Key West and toured the island.  We shopped on Duval Street, and saw the Harry S. Truman Little White House, the Hemingway Home with the 40 to 50 polydactyl (six-toed) cats, and the southern-most point in the continental U.S.

Here we are at Discovery Cove where we spent time with dolphins, exotic birds, stingrays, and sharks!

We drove from Orlando to Key West.  We saw a number of gorgeous houses, and bought a painting at an art gallery.
