A Private Tour of the National Gallery of Art

Shelly and I took a private tour of the National Gallery of Art. A guide showed us and explained about 20 paintings including those by Leonardo, Raphael, Monet, and Van Gogh. It was quite interesting to learn about the history and meaning of each painting. We learned some things to better appreciate the art. I really appreciate the museums and galleries in Washington DC. It's amazing to take a drive or metro to a gallery and see artwork from the masters for free. Below are some pictures of a bit of what we saw, but they don't do the art justice.
