Happy Veteran's Day to My Dad, Edward Murray

Here's my Dad, Edward John Murray. He was a Marine dive bomber pilot in the Pacific during WWII. He won two Distinguished Flying Crosses for support of operations by "heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight". He flew the Douglas SDB Dauntless. He also earned 5 Air Medals, awarded for "single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight".

He actively served from 1942 through 1946 when he was discharged as a Captain. Here's to you Dad.

Here's some pictures of Dad and a couple newspaper articles on his exploits.
