My sister-in-law tested positive for Covid-19. She is still in critical condition on a ventilator, but she no longer has a fever. Hopefully she's turned a corner, and I am thankful for all the prayers from friends and families.
Shelly and I got up early today to go shopping for her mother. We went to Whole Foods and they had latex gloves and hand wipes at the entrance. We wore our masks and gloves that I bought in late January, and we saw a number of others wearing the same. The mask didn't fit Shelly so well so when she breathed it fogged up her glasses. The store was pretty well-stocked. We found most everything on mom's list and dropped it off for her.
I watched some of the movie, "The Eagle has Landed", a World War II flick about a German attempt to kidnap Winston Churchill. It stars Michael Cain, Donald Sutherland and Robert Duvall. I saw this movie a long, long time ago, but I stopped about 2/3 of the way through as I was bored with it.
Shelly and I are planning on painting some rocks this week. It's a community thing where pleasant pictures and messages are painted on small pond rocks that you place in the community. When people find them, they take a picture and post it on a website. We were going to do this with the grand kids but since we are in lock-down, we'll have a go ourselves.
And to close, here's a video of the Doobie Brothers playing "Listen to the Music", the first concert I ever attended.
