Isolation Day 36 - Kate made Masks for Us!

Here's my brother Al's latest update on Connie:

"Connie's doing much better physically and mentally. She's doing her PT three times a day and anxious to leave the hospital and go to the rehabilitation facility. Doctor told her the next Covid test is scheduled for Thursday. It is now a waiting game. We think being confined to our homes gets boring, how about with her being confined to a room! Thanks again to everyone for their prayers and support."

I don't have an update on my sister-in-law Bobbie. I am calling my brother Jack tomorrow to get an update on how she is doing.

I watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo remake with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. I never saw this English version before. Journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Craig) is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander (Mara), a young researcher and computer hacker. A very good movie, good for 7.5 out of 10 stars.

Shelly made Navy Bean soup and I cooked sausages on the grill. Nice comfort food during lock down.

Our dear friend Kate Coleman made Shelly, Melissa, Rhys, Knox and me beautiful masks and dropped them off today. She is so kind!

We did a our virtual happy hour with Kate and Bob Coleman. It's great getting together with them and chatting even if it's from a distance.

Here's a throwback photo from Philadelphia around 2006 of Shelly and the Liberty Bell.

And in closing,Shelly and I saw Sheryl Crow perform at Nissan Pavilion in Virginia around 2006. She is one of my favorite artists, and it was a great concert. Here she is performing "All I Wanna Do."
