I spoke to my sister-in-law Connie today. She sounds a little weak, and is discouraged about still being positive for Covid-19. She wants to go home. She's doing physical therapy several times per day and has walked without a walker. Praying for her recovery soon.
My sister-in-law Bobbie is doing about the same. She taking in some water but not any food. Praying for her comfort and peace.
It's been over 5 weeks since the shelter-in-place order in Maryland. The order may be lifted by the end of May or early June. Even if it is, Shelly and I will be very cautious about venturing out. We'd like to support the area small businesses and locally-owned restaurants. But we'll still wear masks and not go into crowded places. We'll see Melissa, Rhys and Knox and some friends, and go to the beach, but otherwise we'll still stay close to home until we know how everything is panning out. This is life for now.
I couldn't sleep last night so I got up and watched the movie Moneyball starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. It's about Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland A's who championed the use of Sabermetrics in baseball. Shelly and I saw this movie in 2011 and it's a good, entertaining film. It was nice to watch a baseball flick with the season in delay. I give it 7 out of 10 stars.
Here's McCartney posing.

Here's Lennon in quarantine.

Here are some throwback photos. Shelly with Jellybean around 1988.

And in closing, Shelly and I saw Janet Jackson during her Rhythm Nation tour in 1990. It was a great concert. Here's Janet performing "Rhythm Nation."
